Room 21 had their first practical cycling lesson today. It was so much fun and we learned how to do a bike safety check, go around sharp turns and how to signal when turning left or right.

The 5th Class Egg Armour Challenge!
Each boy was given the task to design armour for an egg. They had to ensure that the egg would not break when dropped from a metre height. The 5th class boys are very creative and used their Science, Maths and Engineering skills to come up with a prototype.

November Assembly 2014
Each month Mr. Walsh holds a Junior Assembly and a Senior assembly. This is an opportunity for us to celebrate our achievements with other classes. Each Mount Sion boy is encouraged to identify personal goals and to work hard to achieve them. These achievements are recognised in these assemblies.
The Mount Sion Christmas Concert
As Shakespeare once said ' All the world's a stage'. Our boys rocked the stage today from Junior Infants to 6th class. What a talented bunch of actors, dancers, singers and musicians we have! The much anticipated Christmas Show is tomorrow night. We can't wait to show these wonderful stage productions to you. Watch this spot for more pictures!
5th Class Check Out Winterval!
We had a wonderful day at Winterval. We visited Reginald's Tower and The Toy Museum. The boys were so mannerly and well behaved. The people working in Reginald's Tower invited us back for a tour in the New Year. Ms. Whelan and Ms. Barry are very proud. Well done boys!!!
