Room 21 had a fabulous tour of Genzyme. We learned so much from the people working there. We got to speak in a board room and we got to see all of the amazing labs and warehouses. Thanks to Mount Sion Secondary and Genzyme for giving us this opportunity.

Award of Science and Maths Excellence
We have submitted a body of work to be adjudicated by Discover Primary Science and Maths. Each class from Junior Infants to Sixth Class has contributed evidence of Maths, Science, Technology and Engineering. We hope to achieve the Award of Excellence in Maths and Science before the end of the term.. As part of the process we needed to showcase our work. We held a whole school assembly where 35 children from Junior Infants to Sixth class presented their work on behave of their classes. Take a look at our photo story and watch this spot...

Activities in Senior Infants

Room 13 Potato Planters!
Room 13 have been busy in the school garden! With only eight weeks of school left we took to planting potatoes in the hope of harvesting for the summer holidays! A busy few weeks of weeding and care lie ahead. Well done boys, we look forward floury new potatoes in June!
