Today the boys in Room 20 went to the City Hall to visit the Deputy Mayor Mr John O’Leary as part of their Junior Achievement Programme. We all had a great time and learned lots about how the city is run. We even got to see the mayors chambers and speak into the microphones that the council members use when they have their meetings. It was so cool. We’d like to thank Eddie Ruane for showing us around, Lauren Traynor for the party we had and John O’Leary for presenting us with our certificates. Finally and most importantly all the boys in Room want to give a huge big thank you to Darren Skelton for organising the entire trip and for all the hard work he put into the 6 weeks teaching us all about our city. We really enjoyed ourselves and learned lots!
