Our class is involved in the Waterford Walls Art Project. This is a project set up by local artists to transform vacant sites around Waterford City by murals. We had to come up with an idea for our mural in class. We decided on ‘Waterford Past & Present’. The boys created everything themselves both drawings and paintings and came up with fantastic ideas. They drew everything from Viking Rune Symbols and Reginald’s Tower to Mount Sion hurlers! We went to Stephen Street yesterday in the lovely sunshine to complete the mural. It will be hung up on the walls around Waterford City so keep an eye out for it. Well done on such a great job boys, you should all be very proud of yourselves!
