Room 20 were lucky enough today to be able to visit the Mayor in her office! The trip was arranged by our Junior Achievement representative Darren Skelton who works as a journalist with The Waterford News and Star. We asked the Mayor lots of questions and we were lucky enough to meet the City Planner too! The Mayor even threw a party for us and we all got goodie bags when we were leaving! We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who made this visit possible including Darren, Lola, Marina, Aideen, Helen and Joe.
