Our 3rd Annual Fancy Dress Sponsored Walk took place on Friday 30th May 2014. It’s a day where we have a lot of fun and we raise much needed funds for our school. It’s fantastic to see our boys parading through the streets of Waterford, chanting ‘Up Mount Sion’ and behaving so well. We get so many compliments from people on the streets, commenting on how mannerly the boys are and how well behaved they are. The Staff really put in the effort as well and it is brilliant fun to see everyone dressed up! Everyone was so tired when we got back to school and there was a quietened hush around the school for the afternoon as boys and teachers and SNAs recovered. All the boys got a small treat of a drink and crisps as a little ‘Go raibh maith agaibh!’  As Principal I wish to say a big ‘THANK YOU!’ to all our Parents who came on the walk with us, ‘THANK YOU’ to all those parents who made such an effort to get the boys kitted out so well in their various costumes and of course a big ‘THANK YOU’ to all those who sponsored the boys.
